Our Patron
Aymen I. Idris, PhD. launched the AiS datahub, database and think-tank in 2021 to explore and rationalize the numbers and trends behind scientific research progress in Africa. His philanthropy allows us to conduct research that pushes the boundaries of scientometric research in Africa. His vision is to create a data-driven mechanism to uncover under-researched and neglected topics in the continent, and to better understand how societal, economic and education sectors impact the scientific research output and merit of Africa-based institutes and universities.
